What Is the TimberVolt^® Inferno^™?

The Inferno is the most advanced, fully loaded model in Western Timber Frame’s patented TimberVolt line — a pre-wired timber power post with a GFCI outlet, a standard outlet with dual USB, a high-mounted TV power plug, upper outlet ports, and a double light-and-fan switch, all concealed inside the timber.

Built to power everything from string lights to movie nights, the Inferno energizes through a recessed male inlet at the base and runs its wiring through a 1.25-inch channel in a 6×6 or larger timber, to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.

What’s Built Into Every Inferno?

The Inferno arrives fully pre-wired and sealed, with every connection point covered for weather. A steel wire-channel insert shields the internal wiring during assembly, and every outlet, switch, and USB port is built right into the post.

The Inferno isn’t just wiring — it’s a solid, dovetailed timber post. Like every TimberVolt post, it’s built on Western Timber Frame’s patented Dovetail Difference^®: a trapezoidal joint that interlocks the timbers together without a single metal bracket.
