Designed-In Electrical vs. Retrofit
One of the advantages of TimberVolt power is that it becomes part of the structure itself. Wiring is concealed within the timbers during fabrication, preserving the clean lines and handcrafted beauty of the frame while providing power where you need it. The Inferno™ model also features integrated USB outlets built directly into the post.
Because this system is incorporated before the timbers are cut and prepared, it needs to be planned as part of the original design. Once fabrication begins, the structure is committed to the path it was engineered to follow.

Post Upgrades

We build across four post tiers — 6×6, 8×8, 10×10, and 12×12. Your designer sizes the posts based on what the engineering requires. But post sizing is also a visual conversation.
A pergola on 6×6 posts feels light and airy. The same footprint on 10×10 posts feels grounded and substantial. Neither is wrong — they are different structures in different conversations with your yard.
If the visual weight matters to you, that is worth discussing before we finalize. The engineering changes with the post size — heavier posts carry more load, which affects every connection above them.

3-Gable Design
A Natural Fit for Pavilions and Cabanas
Most pavilions have two gable ends — the classic A-frame peaks on the short sides. A 3-Gable design adds a third peak: two smaller gables extend outward from the sides while a central, taller gable rises above them. The result is a cathedral-like vaulted ceiling underneath and a roofline that looks like it belongs on a custom estate.
The intersection where the three gables come together creates a striking architectural focal point. It’s a detail that draws the eye upward and showcases the artistry of timber framing at its finest.
