The story began when the landscaper they had hired bailed out mid-project.
This family had pictured a peaceful swing area — a place to rest together and enjoy the yard they loved. But when the landscaper walked away before finishing, only the start of their vision remained.
They still believed in the dream, though — they just needed someone who could bring it to life with care and craftsmanship.
That’s where we came in.
Our team designed and built a custom timber pergola that felt like it had always belonged there. Every beam, every curve was handcrafted from Douglas Fir and joined with our signature Dovetail Difference®—the same precision joinery we use on large-scale outdoor structures. The arched knee braces soften the design and add strength. A matching timber swing completes the space with gentle harmony.
Now, instead of a simple sitting spot, the family has a quiet retreat—a place to pause, reflect, and connect.
