Thanks for all your help.”

Washington is said to be the most “bicycling friendly State” and now has another newly installed most “human friendly shade” structure from Western Timber Frame. One of the benefits of timber frame pergolas is that they naturally keep the most comforting temperatures of any shade structure building material.
Another great benefit of a timber frame pergola kit from Western Timber Frame™ is in its state-of-the-art design. Installing a Western Timber Frame DIY pergola kit is fast and easy. Every timber frame pergola kit has drop-in rafter layouts. There are two main benefits of the drop-in rafter layout. The first is ease of installation. Because the timber beam that supports the rafters is already marked and slotted, you don’t have to measure anything or try to figure the proper spacing of your rafters. However, the primary benefit of the drop-in rafter layout is that it helps prevent warping and twisting of the rafters year after year. The hard work is done for you by our experienced craftsman.
This timber frame attached pergola was installed by a client and a couple of friends in just about 4 ½ hours. As you can see in the photos this time did not include the reattaching of the siding that was removed for the installation. This installation though another example of the hundreds of arbor, pavilion, gazebo and pergola kits that have been shipped across the Nation, quickly and easily assembled and installed by homeowners, most with little or no construction experience or without ever having installed anything like this before. Western Timber Frame™ offers as much or as little help as you would like. If you are not a do-it-yourselfer, they will even install it all if you like.
The kit above is an attached 14′ x 14′ solid wood full sized, timber frame DIY pergola kit features Classic knee braces, Champion rafter and beam end profiles and finished in a premium high-grade UV protective custom white timber stain.
An attached pergola is defined as having one side of the pergola supported by being attached to the exterior wall of a home or structure with the other sides supported by posts or columns anchored to a deck or patio. Attached pergolas can attach to a house on one side or attach and extend around the corners of a home or garden wall. Because you are attaching to an existing building an attached pergola may take a little more time and consideration in some cases than a freestanding DIY pergola kit. As you can see, our Design Manager Tyler and our client here in Washington, were an awesome team and our clients were amazing putting it up in a fast and easy process.
“We finished the pergola this weekend! It looks awesome!! Only took about 3 1/2 hrs. My brother said this is a GREAT kit!!! Said if you ever needed anyone to install in our area that he’d be more than happy to do it. Just wanted to let you know how excited we are!” Karen Reynolds – Enterprise, AL
