Our structures are made in Utah — designed, engineered, and CNC-cut at our facility in Payson, about 1 hour away. Every one of the 7,000+ structures we’ve delivered nationwide since 2008 started as raw timber on that shop floor.

Designing Timber Structures for Bountiful’s Climate & Lifestyle
Downtown Bountiful sits at about 4,771 feet at the base of the Wasatch Range, but elevation shifts fast across the city; the east bench, climbing toward Mueller Park and Skyline Drive, sits well above the valley floor and typically catches more snow than the flatter ground toward I-15 and the Great Salt Lake to the west. A structure spec’d for a bench lot may need different engineering than one on a flat, in-town lot near Main Street.
Bountiful’s building code design criteria set a D2 seismic design category, a design wind speed of 140 mph (108 mph ASD) under Exposure Category B, and a minimum 30-inch frost depth.
Our standard engineering starts at 115 mph. Where the project requires a higher design wind speed, the structure is engineered for that requirement. In Bountiful, that means structures are engineered to the city’s 140 mph design wind speed. We also engineer to your lot’s real snow load, soil, and exposure.
